The main reason of Europeans to reach India is because of Pandian Kingdom in Tamil Nadu Southern most part of India. They reached till Egypt, China, Rome, Greek, etc. They had trade with Rome from 361 AD and and Greek from 1 AD. you don't believe this there was a roman trade center in the bank of river Vaigai. So "We found Route to Europe before they find route to India". All European felt "India is the country of Milk and Honey" because of them. Europeans don't know the travel route for India.
Vasco da Gama, a Portugal merchant who was trading with north-western part of Africa wants to find India as India is the country of Milk and Honey, so that he can get more profit. he had the biggest ship in Europe. He started the Journey and traveled over the bank of Africa and reached Malindi.
After reaching Milindi, he don't know the way to cross Arabian sea. There he was caught by a Gujarati named Khana, who had 10-12 times 3 bigger ships than Vasco da Gama's ship as it is the biggest in Europe. He was taken to Goa with one ship at front and other two at his sides, that place is named as Vasco da Gama in Goa later. This is a real hidden history.
